Petoskey is a fossil found here in Michigan and it’s our State Stone! Bezel set in shiny 14kt gold fill to my Smokey Bronze background. In this technique I first hammer and shape the Bronze. I then apply a patina and sand & shine areas to create a great texture and pattern. 14kt gold filled swirl detail. Metal is sealed to protect finish. Total length of pendant 1 3/4″ and almost 1″ at widest. Adjustable length antique brass chain included- max length about 23″. Thanks for visiting!

Labradorite Hand Carved Lion Bronze Necklace

Price: $299.00

Shipping:$0.00

Quantity

Stunning! This is piece of Labradorite is AMAZING! The colors range through a complete spectrum of the rainbow…with a very intense bright electric blue at the top that I had a really hard time capturing in the photos….much better in person & shows best in the first picture. The carving is absolutely exquisite…very detailed & precise! The Labradorite ( 1 3/4″ x 1 1/2″) has been hand carved into a detailed scene of a Lion. I’ve never seen such a clean, detailed labradorite carving in a stone with so much color & fire. Look at the fire when it’s on the neck (picture 1)….incredible !!!

Bezel set in to a hammered and shaped Bronze background. I have oxidized the metal to bring out the detail, create texture, and give the piece an antique look. 14kt gold fill scroll detail at top. Total length of piece is 3″ and width is 2″ at widest. Metal has been sealed to protect finish. The antiqued brass decorative link chain included is has an extender chain so it can be linked anywhere between 18″- 21 1/2″. This chain is a heavier link so 18″ will fit more like 17″ would with a thinner chain. If you’d like it longer or shorter just let me know. If you are not used to wearing a heavy link just let me know and we can choose another chain for you. This piece is timeless & amazing! Thank you for looking!

****Sorry, this piece is SOLD, but contact me to see if I can make you one just like it! :)

Fordite & Iolite Silver Pendant

Price: $259.00

Shipping:$0.00

Quantity

The focal I used is called Fordite or Detroit Agate. This material was created many years ago at the Ford Rouge Plant just outside of Detroit, Michigan. Layer upon layer, paint over-spray built up on metal racks that transported new car bodies through the paint shop, and into the oven, where each coat was baked hard. This process of painting cars is no longer used so the material is rare & coveted. It’s a piece of Michigan history and this pendant is made by my born & raised Michigan hands!!!
This authentic, one of a kind Fordite (from Etsy Shop SuzyBones) is STUNNING with beautiful colors, tons of sparkle, and great patterns. It dates to the early 80′s and is really amazing!!! This piece ( 1 1/4″ x almost 3/4″ at widest) is packed full of brilliant, bright color. I paired it with a piece of Iolite (5mm) that really complements the colors & brings out the blue/violet in the Fordite. I bezel set the cabochons in fine silver .999 to a hammered and shaped solid sterling silver background so the paint is not touching your skin. Sterling silver swirl decoration at the top. Total height of pendant is 1 7/8″ and almost 1 1/4″ at widest. *****Pendant Only Thanks for looking!

*Comes boxed with Fordite story card! :)

***Due to the recent surge in popularity of Fordite ( also known as Detroit Agate) there has been a lot of material being sold as Fordite that is not authentic Fordite at all. Do your research before making a decision & feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the material. I’ve been working with it for several years now & have a lot of experience it. The Fordite I use originates from the automotive plants in my home of Detroit, Michigan (the true home of Fordite). We are proud to be called the Motor City & I think it is so cool that the recycling of our old automotive paint has become popular worldwide!
