This is the coolest piece of Fordite…love it! The focal I used is called Fordite or Detroit Agate. This material was created many years ago at the Ford Rouge Plant just outside of Detroit, Michigan. Layer upon layer, paint over-spray built up on metal racks that transported new car bodies through the paint shop, and into the oven, where each coat was baked hard. This process of painting cars is no longer used so the material is rare & coveted. It’s a piece of Michigan history and this bracelet is made by my born & raised Michigan hands!!!*Sorry this piece is sold, but contact me and I might be able to make you one just like it! :)

This authentic Fordite ( from Etsy Shop- SuzyBones) has an awesome pattern and beautiful, vivid shimmering colors. This is considered a top grade piece for it’s intricate pattern and great color. I bezel set the cabochon ( just over 1 1/4″) in fine silver .999 to the band. Band is sterling silver and I hammered the edge to give it a great texture and reflect the light. Band is 1″ wide and size is adjustable to fit most. If you’d like to give me your size I can adjust it if needed. If you would like a snug fit and are smaller than a 7.5 let me know and I can take the size down. Sizing down is always free! :)

***Due to the recent surge in popularity of Fordite ( also known as Detroit Agate) there has been a lot of material being sold as Fordite that is not authentic Fordite at all. Do your research before making a decision & feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the material. I’ve been working with it for several years now & have a lot of experience with it. The Fordite I use originates from the automotive plants in my home of Detroit, Michigan (the true home of Fordite). We are proud to be called the Motor City & I think it is so cool that the recycling of our old automotive paint has become popular worldwide!

Labradorite Asymmetrical Triangle Silver Cuff-SOLD

Price: $159.00

Shipping:$4.00

Quantity

I used an absolutely gorgeous, moody piece of Labradorite (1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″) in this hammered silver cuff bracelet. Bezel set in fine silver .999 to a sterling silver background. Band is hammered sterling silver clad. This is a new sheet metal being used to cut down on the cost of sterling silver. It has a thick layer of sterling silver on top & bottom with a brass sandwiched between. This is not like a silver plating. The silver will never “wear off”- it’s just too thick- it will hold up like solid sterling silver at 1/2 the cost. Sterling silver scroll decoration. Width of the band is just over 1 1/8″ and size is adjustable to fit most. However, I would consider this one of my larger cuffs fitting size 8-9 well. If you are a smaller size just let me know and I can make it smaller for you. Thanks for looking!****Sorry-SOLD!
