Blue/Purple Patina- Paua Shell Cuff

This is an awesome technique where I change the color of the metal (Nu Gold Brass) with a chemical I use with my torch. This is not paint or an added topical color. This technique creates swirls of deep cobalt blue and purple. I added a gorgeous Paua Shell cabochon (18mm x 13mm) that I set in 14kt gold fill. I polished shiny just around the edge of the stone to make it “pop”. Width of band is a tad over an inch and size is adjustable to fit most. Metal has been sealed to protect finish. This cuff is really unique…really colorful & shiny…never seen anything like this. Thanks for looking!
