I used an amazing, stunning piece of Ammolite ( 1 3/4″ x 1 1/8″ at widest) in this pendant. Ammolite is a rare fossil that is mined in Canada and prized for it’s bright flashes of color like that of an Opal. This stone has really bright flashes throughout. Bezel set in shiny14kt gold fill to an organic hammered & shaped Bronze background. 14kt gold fill scroll decoration. Total length of pendant is just over 3 ” and 1 1/2″ at widest. I’ve used an awesome technique to change the color of the metal creating a deep blue and purple color that goes great with the stone. This is not a paint or topical color. The color of the metal is changed through a heating with my torch and a patina. Total length of pendant is almost 2 3/8″ and is 1 1/2″ at widest. Metal is sealed to protect finish. Gorgeous patina chain included with purchase. Lobster claw for closure and length is 20″ at longest, but can be clasped in lower links to make shorter.
