Wire Work

I used a piece of Orthoceras (1 3/4″ x just over 1/2″ at widest) and wrapped it with sterling silver wire & beads to create this one of a kind edgy pendant. Orthoceras is a fossil that is 400+ years old. I find it fascinating and dramatic! Total length is 2 1/4″. Comes with anti tarnish silver plated twisted wire necklace (shown) or smooth, simple neck ring, or jet black leather cord. I can send you pics of what necklaces are available & sizes. I do make the bail large enough to fit most of your own necklaces. Thanks!

Native copper from here in Michigan is used to make this free-form sculpture. Splash Copper is made by melting the copper to a molten form & pouring onto a flat surface. After it cools patina is applied, highlights of copper are brought to a high polish, and then anti-tarnish lacquer is applied. Wrapped with copper wire total length from top of bail is 2″ and 1″ at widest point. This is my smallest size. I also have medium & large sizes available. Copper neck ring included with purchase. I wrapped this Ammonite fossil in copper to keep with the earthy feel of it. This is a fossil that dates back to millions of years ago! Ammonite measures 2″ long and 1″ wide.
